Starring Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L Jackson, Selma Hayek, Elodie Young and

Gary Oldman.

Thrust into the world of Interpol and espionage, Hitman Darius Kincaid (Samuel L Jackson) has just been sprung from prison to testify against mass murderer, and all around bad guy Vladislav Dukhovich (Gary Oldman).

When Interpol agent Amelia Roussel (Elodie Young), finds herself in the crossfires of many of Dukhovich’s men, who want her, and her witness dead, she must turn to past love, and high-profile body guard Michael Bryce (Ryan Reynolds) to try to keep Kincaid ALIVE till he can testify…

But, it seems we have a major problem here, as not only do Bryce and Roussel have a sorted past, but so do Bryce and Kincaid, making this job just a little complicated to say the least…

When Kincaid decides that Bryce is a subpar bodyguard AT BEST, he comes to his own aid to stay alive, in the hopes of seeing his super-sexy wife Sonia (Salma Hayek), one more time…

As our hitman, and his bodyguard work through their loathing for one another, it seems that they really do need one another’s help – as there is no way Dukhovich is going to let Kincaid send him up the river to rot in jail…especially since he has one of his own on the inside, calling all the shots…

I give THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD a rating of MUST SEE ON THE BIG SCREEN! Talk about the perfect pairing on screen – Jackson and Reynolds are perfectly cast as the HITMAN, and his somewhat of an asshole BODYGUARD! Also perfectly cast was Hayek, playing Jackson’s wife, as her performance is exceptionally good too. Plus, if you want the perfect BAD GUY, you can’t go wrong casting Goldman, as he once again proves he is one twisted and totally demented mental case. And even better than these exceptional performances throughout, is the superb comedy strewn throughout every inch of this film, as the comedy and one-liners interwoven between the frames of this film by writer Tom O’Connor – are sheer genius – in a substantial and totally sensational way!! The only imperfection that I detected throughout THE HITMAN’s BODYGUARD was within Reynold’s performance – as he has perfected his DEADPOOL persona so well, you can watch him go for giving those one-liners as exquisitely as he does as Deadpool, and then pull back when he realizes this “isn’t that movie! But, even with that little imperfection, it still doesn’t take away from the comedic genius and perfect casting of THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD. It is definitely A MUST SEE at a theater near you this weekend!!!
