JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2 – Rated R – 2 hrs. 2 mins –

“Wick is back, kicking ass with a vengeance yet again, the whole way through!” Kathy Kaiser, Matinee Chat

Starring Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Common, Riccardo Scamarcio, Lance Reddick and John Leguizamo

Picking up perfectly from where we last left Mr. Wick…it seems that exiting “his profession” as he had hoped, is still not going to play out…

Forced to pay back a debt that has come due, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) does what he must, to stay alive, for now. When his new nemesis Santino D’Antonio (Riccardo Scamarcio) decides to double cross him, all hell is about to break loose, as we already know what happens when Jonathan’s vengefulness takes over…and that means, there is not a man left standing.

But as John works his magic to rid the world of Santino, and his men, will he step over the line with his comrades at The Continental, thus bringing down havoc to his world, that even John can’t fully fathom…

I give JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2 a rating of MUST SEE ON THE BIG SCREEN: Reeves is absolutely superb yet again, playing this perfectly cast character for him, and showing that even 3 years later, he’s still got all the moves that a professional killer must have, to get the job done!!! Plus, bringing back together Director Chad Stahelski and Writer Derek Kolstad for this sequel was sheer genius as well, as this film has the exact same feel and finesse as the original…making it feel as if it was only yesterday, when we first got to experience Reeves return to the big screen as Mr. WICK! And, as sequels go to, this film is at the tops of that game also, as you truly can’t wait to see what else the future has in store for Jonathan, when its all said and done. The Question remains…will this franchise become a trilogy film experience in a year of two? Or will the talked about new JOHN WICK series come to fruition, and it picks up from where we were we just left off??? Only “the powers that be” know this answer… so stay tuned…
