JUSTICE LEAGUE – Rated PG-13 – 2 hrs
Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons
As we venture for the first time into JUSTICE LEAGUE territory on the big screen, it seems that Batman/Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) is missing his fellow Caped Crusader Superman/Clark Kent (Henry Cavill), and is in hopes that he can form a League of fellow super-heroes to try save our earth after Superman’s demise, from the ultra powerful and nasty Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds).
As Bruce enlists his smooth talking ways to convince Wonder Woman/Diane Prince (Gal Gadot) to help him with this mission, it seems that both Wonder Woman and Batman are going to have to break out all the stops to convince Aquaman/Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa), The Flash/Barry Allen (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg/Victor Stone (Ray Fisher) to assist them on their quest…
When it seems our team is still missing a large and significant piece of manhood to get the job done…the League must formulate a way to add to their team, or face the fact that earth as we know it, is destined for extinction…
I give JUSTICE LEAGUE a rating of MUST SEE ON THE BIG SCREEN: You know how long we have all been waiting for this film, and viewing it any other way just won’t do it JUSTICE – ;). I mean, you have to experience the first time our DC Characters are joining forces ON THE BIG SCREEN, because if you don’t, its will be a travesty! Even though I don’t think this film is as good as either of the AVENGER films that Marvel has produced thus far, I definitely think its better than the 3rd THOR FILM that was released a couple weeks ago. I even genuinely laughed throughout many parts of this film, unlike the forced comedy of THOR: RAGNAROK, which just got to be too much. And even though I feel this newly formed team can’t hold a candle to the AVENGERS as a whole, it was good to see these DC Superheroes form their League of Justice, to save our world, and to morn the loss of my favorite DC Hero EVER – SUPERMAN! Whether or not your are a fan of DC or MARVEL characters, doesn’t really matter either, because when the rest of the world is talking about THE FILM they saw this weekend, it will be THIS ONE, and you don’t want to be left out in the cold. Plus, when they start spilling about the fact that this film has a 2 part ending as well, you will be sooooo happy that you followed my directions and headed to a theater near you this weekend to catch JUSTICE LEAGUE ~ as it will be all that anyone is conversing about come Monday…TRUST ME!!!
