When we meet the young and adventurous Baby (Ansel Elgort), he is embarking upon another heist of epic proportions, under the direction of his “boss in crime” Doc (Kevin Spacey).
As Doc’s luck is running high heist after heist with his boy baby behind the wheel, Doc decides to assemble a team to knock off a division of the federal government, including his regulars Buddy (Jon Hamm) and Darling (Eiza Gonzalez), and newcomer to the crew, Bats (Jamie Foxx).
With Doc promising to let Baby go after this last heist, it’s time for Baby and his girl Debora (Lily James) to hit the road for real …embarking upon their lives without a care in the world…but once you’re a part of Doc’s crew… can you ever really get out???
I give BABY DRIVER a rating of MUST SEE ON THE BIG SCREEN at a THEATER NEAR YOU as soon as TONIGHT! Why must you see this film at a theater near you so quickly? Because BABY DRIVER is the most fast paced, action packed, perfectly cast film of the summer! Yes, it is that good! Elgort is perfectly cast in his role as the demon behind the wheel, but with the face and demeanor of a Prince! Spacey plays the role of “the mean boss” well yet again…I mean he has become legendary for this type of role! Add in St. Louis’s own Jon Hamm and bad guys Bernthal and Foxx, and you have one perfect film that you absolutely have to see on the BIG SCREEN near you! And if you are still not sold that this film is a MUST SEE, then you have to go to see it at the theater just so you can hear the incredible soundtrack! There are few films over the years that have totally captivated me with its music throughout, and BABY DRIVER is one of those films! It is absolute perfection when it comes to its soundtrack too! So get your crew together and head out to see BABY DRIVER TONIGHT – I promise, you will be thanking me tomorrow!
