BOSS BABY – Rated PG – 1 hr. 37 min.

Starring Alec Baldwin, Lisa Kudrow, Tobey McGuire, Jimmy Kimmel and Miles Christopher Bakshi

Based on the book by the same name by Marla Frazee & Directed by the man who brought us all 3 MADAGASCAR Movies ~ Tom McGrath ~ we meet 7-year old Tim (Miles Christopher Bakshi/Toby McGuire) going through life perfectly as AN ONLY CHILD…that is until a new little brother (Alec Baldwin) arrives. And how can I guy compete with someone who is not only cute and cuddly, but apparently a suit wearing, brief case carrying grown-up… but only when Mom (Lisa Kudrow) and Dad (Jimmy Kimmel) are no where to be found.

Destined to find out what the real story is with his new “little brother”, Tim finally captures his brother not only talking, but making plans with his fellow diaper-wearing cohorts in crime, who conveniently happen to be over for a “play date”…

As Tim tries to convince his parents that his baby brother isn’t at all A BABY, Tim finds himself thrown into shifting gears from outing this imposter, to helping his little bro stop the CEO of Puppy Co …before its too late, for all the BABIES OF THE WORLD!!!!

I give BOSS BABY a rating of MUST SEE ON THE BIG SCREEN: Get ready everyone, because if you were intrigued at all by the trailer for this latest DreamWorks Animated film, that trailer doesn’t scratch the surface of this little tale…as this very touching and greatly expanded storyline (it’s not all in the trailer this time – YEAH!!!), mixed with the truly loveable characters throughout each and every frame of this animated masterpiece, make it truly something the whole family MUST experience. A. BALWIN is legendary as the smooth talking, wise cracking, #1 Baby on the block. It’s as if they shrunk his character from 30 ROCK, and that’s all right by me! McGuire and Bakshi are perfect too, playing the older and younger version of big brother Tim throughout the film. And rounding out the perfectly cast voice-overs this time around are Kudrow, Kimmel and Steve Buscemi too…making this film hilariously heartwarming the entire way through. I haven’t seen an animated featuring this perfect since last year’s Academy Award winning film ZOOTOPIA…bringing me to suggest that you gather your family, both the young and the not-so-young and head out to catch BOSS BABY at a theater near you!! It is definitely one film your whole family HAS TO EXPERIENCE on THE BIG SCREEN together, bringing joy to not only the kiddos this time around, but it will put a big smile of the faces of all the parents out there too!!!
