X-MEN APOCALYPSE – Rated PG-13 – MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS

Starring Oscar Isaac, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Olivia Munn and a host of others…

“Can’t remember a time when going BACK IN TIME ended up being SO FABULOUS in the here and now…”

With who else to Direct this next installment of X-Men but the prolific Bryan Singer, we venture back in time and come face-to-face with the world’s first Mutant APOCALYPSE (Oscar Isaac)~ although it seems that eons must pass before his wrath on the world will finally be unleashed…

Flash forward in time to enter our favorite school for “gifted youngsters”, as new mutants seem to be arriving daily ~ including the arrival of Alex Summers/Havok’s (Lucas Till) brother Scott Summers/Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), as he tries to come to terms with his new found mutant power, and how to control it.

Enter a blast from the past for Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), the beautiful CIA Agent, Dr. Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne), as she seeks out his expertise on how to contain this mutant that she has inadvertently unleashed…

As mutants of old and new decide if they are for or against the GREAT APOCALYPSE ~ It seems that no one can steer clear of his wrath…no matter what side they are on, as decades of SUPERIORNESS are guiding him – and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) too, in their quest for entire world annihilation…

I give X-MEN APOCALYPSE a rating of MUST SEE ON THE BIG SCREEN and in IMAX3D~ Even though I usually gravitate towards MARVEL’s other SUPER HERO SAGA’s – you know, checking out IRON MAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA or my favorite half-clothed hero from beyond THOR, I was very pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this 9th installment full of Mutants!! From the perfection of the storyline, to the perfect cameo appearance by my favorite X-MAN – to the incredible 3D effects and CGI ~ which usually aren’t my thing either ~ I was totally sold on each passing frame of this film…leading me to say, if you love these superhero mutants and want a story filled with old Mutants and some new ones too…or are just wanting to catch the most exciting of the films thus far…then get a move on to a theater near you to catch X-MEN APOCALYPSE – an Apocalyptic adventure that you’ll want to catch on the big screen again, and again and again…
