As per request of the studio called DISNEY you see, they have asked all us CRITIC TYPES to keep our reviews SPOILER FREE ~ so listen I shall, as I always abide by THE RULES, so you won’t find any SPOILERS that will ruin your viewing of THIS FILM…
With that said ~ it would also be ridiculous to proclaim this film A MUST SEE ON THE BIG SCREEN, as how else would you view it, and in all it’s grandeur, you must agree ~ which leads me to proclaim that I shall rate this film SOMEWHAT DIFFERENTLY…
My rating for STAR WARS: The FORCE AWAKENS is clear – I’m rating it with 3F’s ~ standing for FANTASTIC, FAMILIAR and FABULOUS ~ and why now you ask? Because…
This film is FANTASTIC ~ because of our FANTASTIC NEW FRIENDS – who are superbly cast all the way through ~ including Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega) too.
This film is FAMILIAR ~ with the Familiar faces that appear ~ no spoilers here as their mugs have been present for about ½ a year on that poster that everyone has been selling their souls to acquire ~ Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) we’ll see, and Hans Solo (Harrison Ford) too ~ YIPEE!!!! I couldn’t do anything less than JUMP FOR JOY in my seat when they appeared on the big screen after so many years…
This film is FABULOUS – which we all would assume, but this time it is in reference to the Director of the hour, J.J. Abrams, the FINE SIR ~ who has brought it all to life with his meticulous portrayal, of this much anticipated tale. He has given it too, a quite CLASSIC APPEAL, as this evolving FORCE SAGA unfolds in detail…and as I watched with glee at what was unfolding before me, it was as if THE FORCE WAS AWAKEN inside me too, thanks to J.J.! And it seemed to happen too, to all of my movie loving good friends who were sitting beside me…
SO there you have it ~ my duty is fulfilled ~ I have rated this film without SPOILING AT ALL ~ If you haven’t had your tickets for months now it seems, anticipating this night in all of your dreams, then make a point to head out to a theater near you ~ and make haste ~ as you MUST CATCH THIS INCREDIBLE SEQUEL IN THE THEATER, before it’s too late!!
