THINK LIKE A MAN TOO – Rated PG 13

Back for another go round and headed for a weekend in LAS VEGAS to tie the knot – Michael (Terrance J) and Candace (Regina Hall) want to make it official and have grabbed all their friends from TLAM to join them for the festivities.  Being the loving and mild mannered individuals they are, everything should be pretty mundane and go off without a hitch – YAH RIGHT – THERE IN VEGAS BABY!

Of course Michael’s entourage is there – including Cedric, his best man (Kevin Hart), Zeke (Romany Malco), Jeremy (Jerry Ferrara), Dominic (Michael Ealy) & Bennett (Gary Owen).  As these guys try to show Michael the time of his life, before the ol’ ball & chain is connected, a few of his other college bros come to hang too, Isaac (Adam Brody) & Terrell (David Walton).  The strip is no match for these guys, as they are determined to show Michael the time of his life……

While the boys are busy – the ladies have a few FUN ideas in store for Candace too – and what better way to start off the evening than the sexes splitting up. Making the most of their Bachelor and Bachelorette parties.

Kristen (Gabrielle Union), Mya (Meagan Good), Lauren (Taraji P Henson) decide the time has come to get their GROOVE ON,  but Tish (Wendi McLendon-Covey) isn’t feeling like getting it on, as she is too tired and her sweater set isn’t quite cutting the attire for the evening’s festivities.   Well, what else would a great group of friends do but take you shopping and make you the hottest babe on the strip – Hell yeah!  With everyone decked to the nines and ready to go, there is no stopping them now – but wait – hold on just a minute – as Michael’s mother Loretta (Jenifer Lewis)is also in Vegas for the nuptials, and she will tolerate her boys soon-to-be-wife being disrespectful and not a lady the night before her wedding.  As tempers flare and the girls scramble to find something for Loretta to do, so they get this party started, they remember that Mya’s uncle is there too, the suave and debonair Uncle Eddie (Dennis Haysbert – can you say the ALLSTATE man), who is happy to oblige the ladies’ request to keep Michael’s mother OCCUPIED, as they say….

Will Michael and Candace make it down the aisle, or will madness and mayhem keep that from happening?  Will Michael’s mother Loretta destroy not only the relationship she has with her soon to be daughter in-law, but with her son too?  Or will Cedric make sure that the already chaotic world of LAS VEGAS gets even crazier while they are all hanging there????

I give THINK LIKE A MAN TOO an A:  I am always apprehensive to see a sequel, especially when the first film was good, but this TOO may be better than the first.  From the true-to-life relationship stories lines with all the characters in this film, to some of the funniest scenes I have had the opportunity to view in quite some time, this movie is absolutely entertaining the whole way through.  Of course, TERRANCE J and REGINA HALL being so incredibly gracious on the Red Carpet and at their interview with a few of the local critics the day after the advanced screening, gives this movie a big THUMBS UP in my book too!  Get ready to laugh your “you know what off” as this ensemble cast makes you want to stay for more, even after the finishing credits have rolled!  Go check out THINK LIKE A MAN TOO this weekend at a theater near you, so you too can enjoy all the madness and mayhem they all dish out in every frame of this film J
