Do you love mysteries?  Do you love suspense?  Do you love the game CLUE? Well. If you said yes to any of these questions, then let’s travel to home of renowned Crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer), who has just celebrated his 85th Birthday with the entire family in attendance, and who has now been found dead at his estate…

Enter Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig), who has somehow been summoned to investigate Thrombey’s mysterious demise.  Now as Blanc starts his intense investigation, a who’s who of “who done it”, is about to unfold…

I give KNIVES OUT a rating of MUST SEE ON THE BIG SCREEN!  Exhilaratingly fun the whole way through, Knives Out is one of those films that keeps you intrigued more, and more through each passing frame.  Daniel Craig is fabulous, as the sleuth on a mission to uncover who was the culprit behind Harlan Thrombey’s untimely demise, and it’s so awesome to0, to see him in another role than 007.  Chris Evans is superb throughout this film too, although he doesn’t get quite as much screen time as I would have liked along the way, what time he does get is sheer perfection,  without any Captain America flashbacks either along the way! And talk about a star-studded cast – from Jamie Lee Curtis as the “perfect daughter”, to Don Johnson playing her POS husband, to Michael Shannon filling in quite nicely as the “Chosen Son”, with way too much pressure coming at him from every direction, Knives Out is one of those impeccably crafted films that everyone above the age of 12 should venture out to see this Thanksgiving Holiday!  Kudos to Writer and Director Rian Johnson too, as she has managed to create a modern-day murder mystery classic, that is just as funny, as it is dramatic.  And I have to give a shout out too to the fabulous marketing team for this film too, as those commercials on knives featuring Martha Stewart and Jamie Lee Curtis, is some of the best “out of the box” film marketing I’ve seen in quite some time!  So gather the family and head out to catch Knives Out at some point this Thanksgiving holiday,  as it will totally help you to avoid that awkward family drama you know is coming, and those political discussions at nauseum too, making for one extremely enjoyable Thanksgiving that whole family won;t mind remembering, come next year!
